More About Andrew
My name is Andrew Singer. I am a professional musician and live performance soloist from Kenosha, WI. My skill set and career are singing and playing the guitar at corporate and private events. I primarily perform covers and occasionally perform my original songs. I loved studying music from a young age starting at St. Mary’s Catholic School. I picked up the guitar at age thirteen and played in Jazz Band my 8th grade year at McKinley Middle School, and continued while attending Bradford Symphonic Jazz Band. I found my love of singing while participating in both Tremper Choral Choirs and Bradford’s Concert Choir (2000-2005) as well as singing in KYPAC (Kenosha Youth Performance Arts Company) during the summer. My training also includes private guitar lessons for four years with Terry Peterson, private drum lessons for three years with Brian Ford, private bass guitar lessons for one year with Benjamin Holt, and private voice and piano lessons for one year from Jeanette Rose. Along with college credit from Bringham Young University for singing and guitar, I was performing in popular regional touring acts like The Big Migaffers, I Voted For Kodos (Warped Tour) and also Morrison (Members of Lines Of Loyalty). In 2012, I started a solo cover project and began to professionally solo perform at venues and have been doing so ever since. I occasionally perform with my students and teachers as well. In 2014, I moved to Los Angeles where I became a professional busker for almost three years. There, I met a fellow busker named Eric Burton from the Black Pumas. We still follow and support one another on Instagram. I was on the national television show Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel and was quoted in the local section of the LA Times. I have also been on the front page of the my hometown’s local newspaper called the Kenosha News.
